Sachvir is a student of Class 10 in St. John's High School, Chandigarh. He is an avid reader and also enjoys painting and writing. He is a self-taught artist. Drawing is a great stress-buster for him. He has won prizes in many national and international competitions. He won the third place in 'Save the Sparrow' drawing competition organised by the Wisdom Launch group. He also loves to pen his thoughts. His poem, 'Robotics' was selected and published in 2019 as one of the winning entries by Indian School of Robotics on World Poetry Day. He has won the 'On the Spot Slogan Writing' Competition organised by the Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He earned a 'Certificate of Excellence' in the Parliamentary Debate Competition under 'Girls India Project'. He published his first book, 'Knock, Knock' in 2020 when he was in sixth grade. That book gave him confidence to experiment. Since then, his articles are being regularly published in an online Pune based magazine 'Wizkidscarnival'. A reluctant dancer, he found joy in dancing when his mother pushed him into a dance workshop. He wrote an article on how dancing made him comfortable with his body which was selected and published in an international Canadian based magazine, 'Syncopation' in 2023. Like every boy of his age, he loves the idea of riding a bike. His article 'Bikes- Different Views' has been published in the book 'Wind in My Face' by Raayan publications. His poem has recently been selected in 'Changling mini mag' on the topic 'Pride'. He is also a member of the Crucible, a literary club in his school which has helped him chisel his writing. He loves sports and is ready to play at any time. He is pursuing archery. He has represented Chandigarh and his school in the School Nationals in Nadiad in Gujarat 2023. He is eager to learn more.
